Responsibilities:
Working as part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional, agile product development team to Quality Engineering new and existing applications
Develop and execute automated testing, including performance testing, for assigned projects to enable delivery of high-quality software products and services successfully and consistently on time, on budget, and to specification.
Excellent working knowledge of the QE function, Experience Design methodologies and principles.
Collaborating and partnering with software engineers applying the test pyramid to ensure appropriate automated is test covered
Innovate and embed Quality Engineering practices, ensuring that an automation first approach is followed.
Requirements
5+ years of quality engineering experience.
Experience in strategic development and implementation of Quality Engineering solutions (Automation Frameworks, Performance Validation).
Technical acumen required in the below technical stack
Strong coding skills in JAVA (Java SE 7, Java SE 8, Open JDK 7)
BDD/TDD testing frameworks: Playwright (preferred), Selenium, Cypress
Unit testing frameworks: Junit, TestNg, Newman.
API Testing-REST ASSURED with cucumber(preferred), Postman, Newman, Karate (IDE e.g. Eclipse, Maven, Java)
Database Testing - Data validation, SQL, DBeaver or SQL developer
CI/CD Jenkins, Git
Technical acumen in Cloud Based technologies (AWS/Azure)
Demonstrate experience of using best testing techniques, test agile methodologies (BDD, Pair Programming) and usage
Have an understand the importance of gathering useful metrics around performance and load testing.
Research and identify root causes of issues in partnership with architects, developers, and network and system engineers.
Be a great communicator and team player that enjoys mentoring and sharing knowledge with junior engineers.
Maintain flexibility to react quickly to changes in priorities or circumstances to meet the needs of the business.
Maintain awareness of the state of the industry and evaluate emerging trends/developments that may benefit the organization.
