Responsibilities and tasks:
The challenges that you will be working on, will be as follows, but not limited to
Mentoring the junior team members
Laying down the plan for Automation Deliveries
Contributing to the addition and maintenance of automation tests
Maintaining automation suites within CI/CD pipelines
Making sure the right automation coverage is there to help reduce manual efforts and curating reports for the stakeholders
Covering tech debts at framework level
Create and maintain test automation environments
Qualifications
What You Need to Succeed at BlueOptima:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS/IT) or equivalent with overall 4 to 7 years of experience in testing and automation, with at least 4 years in automation
2 to 4 years experience in building automation frameworks across UI, API and Back-End testing
Strong understanding of SQL concepts
Solid experience in
Java and OOPs concepts
Selenium, Testng/JUnit, Rest Assured or similar tools
Setting up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools. Containerization using Docker
Resource management and allocation with capability of mentoring a team of 1 to 2 members as and when required
Desired Skills:
Designed and successfully implemented test automation frameworks from the ground up.
Experience with testing distributed systems
Knowledge of Scripting languages
Additional experience in building frameworks and automating tests with Jest, Puppeteer or similar tools along with JS or Python
