Develop performance scripts using JMeter, Locust and other performance testing tools.
Execute Performance, Load, Stress, Endurance and Chaos testing to collect, measure and analyze the impact to the performance of applications, service layers and core systems components.
Create, setup, and launch tests from AWS environments and within a CI/CD pipeline
Perform systems monitoring and perform root cause analysis on collected and analyzed monitoring data.
Develop custom scripts using Java/Python based on requirement.
Work with key solutions architects and business managers to define the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) for all the business processes to be tested.
Plan, design and implement automation frameworks for various applications from frontend to backend
Involve in POCs for new testing tools and technologies
Setup and monitor continuous integration for build, deploy and automated performance tests
Work with support teams and implementation teams to investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis as needed.
Learn & enhance best practices and provide technical guidance to other team members
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field or related work experience.
5+ years of dedicated experience in Performance testing and Engineering.
Good experience on performance testing tools like JMETER, locust, Gatling and LoadRunner etc.
Experience in using Monitoring tools like Grafana, Splunk, Dyntrace / Appdynamics to identify the bottlenecks
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience building performance testing frameworks and execution.
Strong coding skills using one or more of C, Java, Python, C# or other languages.
Expert understanding of performance testing methodologies, best practices, reporting and analysis.
Experience in performance testing with the developed applications on Windows and Web(Java/.Net/Webservices/REST APIs)
Experience with testing distributed systems in a cloud environment preferably in AWS.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab/Jenkins.
Ability to find root cause of performance bottlenecks and assist with corrective action to improve performance of applications under test.
Senior experience with writing performance test scripts using JMeter or Locust is required.
Experience in writing SQL queries
Ability to handle the projects independently/ as team player
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
