6+ years of software testing experience with a focus on functional test definition and test planning, test automation at all levels of the testing pyramid, and scalability and load testing and performance tooling in large scale, distributed systems
Excellent analytical skills with experience summarising test results into meaningful reports to effectively communicate test coverage and code quality, as well as scalability, capacity and performance issues
Solid experience with test harnesses and frameworks, and with test automation and testing applications at the API layer, specifically RESTful APIs
Excellent test case automation skills using Python and Java based frameworks and programming
Good programming skills in Java, Java Script and python
Excellent coordination skills with a developer in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Understanding of integrations through REST APIs and SDK is highly desired
Understanding of ServiceNow and Splunk integration experience is highly desired
Experience monitoring for defects and issues post-production, creating observability and logging strategies, and translating findings from production environments into actionable tests in development and staging environments
Experience in using different source code management applications such as github, bitbucket, gitlab via command-line and web
Experience in building pipelines in the source code management applications as mentioned above is a strong plus
Experience in different testing methodologies, such as: behaviour-driven testing, unit testing, and integration testing
For roles on our Tenable teams, experience with testing in at least cloud-based architecture (e.g. aws/azure/gcp) is a must, AWS is preferred.
Experienced in creating, updating and managing CI/CD pipelines
Experience coaching and leading mid-level and junior staff in the design, implementation, and execution of highly technical development projects
Experience in working in an Agile team, and an enthusiasm for working collaboratively within and across product teams
The ability to work independently and as a part of a team, and to lead/drive projects as necessary
The desire to continuously learn and be exposed to new technologies
Minimum B.Tech in Computer Science or directly related field, or equivalent work experience
