Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Strong experience in software development with strong knowledge in python (2.x and 3.x versions) Programming.
Experience in Azure cloud platform
Experience in PostgreSQL /MongoDB
Knowledge in web frameworks either Django/Flask/Cherrypy etc.
Knowledge in python unit test frameworks (unittest, pytest etc).
Experience in REST APIs.
Unit and system testing of application code as well as execution of implementation activities.
Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills on microservices.
Should be proactive and have the intellect to explore and come up with solution to complex technical issues
Take ownership of assigned jobs that are part of new feature implementations, bug fixes and enhancement activities
Technical communication with internal and external stake holders will be part of job.
Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
Would be a plus:
Development experience in Java
Preferred understanding of Jenkins, Git and CI/CD
Experience in PostgreSQL
Experience in NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis)
Roles & Responsibilities:
QA testing Engineer mainly responsible for the validation of all Edge adapters functionalities and WindSCADA NXT Application.
The Major Responsibilities are but not limited to,
Contribute to build a testing strategy
Prepare test plans
Define testing strategy like regression testing, smoke testing...
Prepare and validate the test platform (platform configuration)
Define and document the system test cases to test user stories.
Execute the system tests (system configuration, system functionalities, system performances)
Document defects, provide test reports, interact with product teams to identify root causes, to define fixing plan, to track defect fixing, to maintain quality-related KPI, and test the defect fixes
Other Responsibilities:
Domain knowledge on Electrical systems, SCADA
Proficiency in test design technique (determining test conditions, test cases and test data during software testing)
Proficiency in test management and defect management in an Agile environment
Familiar with project management tools (e.g. Rally)
[Desired] Competencies in the use of test tools and test automation, familiar with scripting tools (e.g. python) and test automation tools
[desired] Knowledge in IT integration (network configuration, security configuration)
Strong Multi-Tasking and proactive and open approach
Should be able to work independently
Proven analytical and learning skills
Good written and verbal communication skills and working in global team environment
