The Testing Specialist will work closely with the Business and Delivery teams to Design and execute the test strategy and to meet identified business needs and deliver business value.
Job Requirement:
10+ years on experience in Data and Analytics
Extensive experience in SQL Server/Oracle/SAP HANA
Strong experience in ETL testing is mandatory including Master Data Management, Data Completeness Data Cataloging, Data Leverage and Data Quality for various data feeds coming from the source
Experience in database testing, data comparison & data transformation scripting
Good knowledge Data Warehousing concepts & Data Modelling
Must have good hands-on experience in creating Stored Procedures, Functions, Tables, Cursors, Hash-tables and handling large data types.
Should know about working of Joins, Subqueries, CTEs and complex query writing skills
Experience in testing of reports, BO Universe
Experienced in structured test methods and processes
Azure Infra & Networking know-how and Testing
Cloud Azure PaaS Analytics & Storage services know-how and Testing
Good understanding of Azure Security like identity and access controls, safeguarding data, keys & secret management, securing network, general information protection, understanding of threats like DDoS etc
Knowledge on Data pipeline
Ability to work with Data Engineers to come up with best practices/solutions to Product(s) / and integration with Connected Applications
In Addition to above technical skills, below are Must Have Skills:
Experienced in ALM / VSTS. Setting up Test Management Tools related to requirements' traceability, test plans, test labs, and defects management.
Ability to plan and strategize testing for complex systems. This Involves planning scope of testing, Release/Sprint planning, resource planning, overall planning for E2E testing activities
Excellent Communication, Coordination skills and Stakeholder management.
Experienced in Functional, Regression, Interface testing and support for UAT
Experienced in Agile ways of working
Good to Have:

Key accountabilities include:
As a Senior tester/Lead, you will be responsible to plan and undertake end-to-end test activities such as Strategizing testing for releases including estimations and resourcing in line with Project and Program needs, test script development, test execution & defects management.
Work collaboratively with Product Managers/ Business Analysts in project to assess test scenarios and provide test requirements based on risk-based testing methodology.
Design and Develop Test strategy, Test plan, Test reporting, test conditions, test scripts, test data, and expected results for test streams, including Product Test, Integration Test, Technical Test and Deployment Test.
Capable of designing and execution of detailed functional test cases for complex requirements
Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements that improve the level of delivery while finding optimization opportunities
Must demonstrate effective communication with management, peers, and subordinates, both verbally and in writing
Proactive and Organized, Capable of working in an ambiguous/uncertain environment, understanding risks & flagging it on time. Ability to mitigate risks and ensuring quality deliverables adhering to timelines.
Ensuring Test Delivery Assurance complying with Shell standard tools and framework.

Job Education
Preferably an education at degree level (MSc, BSc, or equivalent professional qualification) in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines
Job Experience
At least 10+ years of proven experience in testing/development roles, and a proven track record of strong performance in a similar position.
