Work with product owners and developers to ensure that requirements are effectively tested
Work with QA leads to ensure new development work is being considered in regression testing and risks are considered and communicated
Preparation and execution of test plans and test scripts
Raise and monitor defects and ensure they are re-tested in a timely manner
Provide estimates and feedback to the QA Lead and Project Manager for project scheduling purposes.
Define and use test reports and templates that are both comprehensive and clear
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
Experience of working in a continuous delivery model
Significant experience within a testing role to include at least 3 years of hands on testing experience
Experience in designing test cases
Experience in Agile using Scrum methodology.
Experience using Test Case Management Tools such as TestRail, HP ALM, Zephyr etc.
Experience in managing defects in a structured way using tools such as JIRA
Experience of working in all different stages of the SW testing life cycle - functional, integration, regression testing
Ability to determine and dictate relevant test types, methods and approaches (e.g. identify where a tool could help with testing; identify when to test boundary conditions)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent knowledge of test methodologies and development approaches such as Kanban/Waterfall/Agile
Qualified to ISEB/ISTQB Foundation level – software testing
Knowledge of automation would be added advantage.
