You will:
Participate in requirements, design, test plan reviews, code reviews
Develop automated test suites to validate API, backend, and frontend components.
Build test cases and test plans, and perform manual testing to find product issues in a SaaS environment.
Maintain and extend the Java-based automation test framework
Work with development and quality engineering peers in a team environment.
The candidate will report to QA Manager in Bangalore
You have:
8+ years of Software QA Engineer or SDET experience
4+ years of experience testing public-facing RESTful APIs or SaaS applications
8+ years of experience developing API test automation using Java
8+ years of experience building UI test automation with Selenium, WebDriver, or Cypress
Experience working on high-output agile development teams
Experience with tools in the Software Development Life Cycle including source control, build systems, issue tracking, and requirements management
Experience with AWS, Docker, and other cloud-based virtualization technology
Customer-facing skills to represent Ping Identity well within the customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation.
Leading/Involved in the highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise.
You have an advantage if:
Fundamental knowledge in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Familiarity with the following protocols: SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
