As a Functional QA, you will work with Product Team to understand requirements, write test cases, create test data and execute them. You will be responsible for testing out our brand new cloud based big data powered compliance platform, with the ability to process very high trading volumes, provide cutting edge user experience, and build resilient & maintainable solutions. You will join our growing Functional QA team & also work with Automation team. You will get an opportunity to work with multiple products and businesses and develop a deep understanding of the interesting world of trading and compliance.
Knowledge / Experience
5-7+ years of experience in Capital Market Domain, with good knowledge about FIX, Order Life Cycle and Trade life cycle.
Testing experience in a senior role capacity work.
Hands-on using technical skills on SQL, Linux/Unix, Shell Scripting.
Full understanding of SDLC, QA and Defect Lifecycle.
Experience with Test data identification & creation
Exposure to test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Quality Centre)
Proven delivery of performing functional testing to assess for accuracy, quality, functional and non-functional testing to assess for security, reliability, efficiency, reliability, maintainability and portability for both agile and waterfall approaches.
Experience of ensuring accountability of delivery against milestones.
Writes high level test strategies with input from the Dev Lead and/or business and derives time estimates
Fully skilled at creating, owning and implementing test approaches for particular projects
fully competent at testing in Agile Scrum, including agile test techniques such as in-sprint automation, exploratory test etc.

a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
