Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:
15 years of previous experience, preferably in a technical test engineering and leadership role (e.g., overseeing teams and projects), with a minimum of 5 years of experience in direct people management, supervision and team leadership role.
Has designed and implemented test frameworks on large-scale programs and enhanced test processes.
A strong communicator and entrepreneurial thinker, who is comfortable dealing with business ambiguity and organizational change.
Proficient at leading teams, and driving positive organization and process change, within a global, geographically spread R&D organization.
Proficient at working, and managing people, in a global business setting. Expertise in navigating different cultural norms in a global organization.
A proficient, confident English language communicator, and strong presenter, with broad experience of working, and maintaining dialogue, with North American executive leadership teams.
A strong sense of command and a demonstrable track record of  leadership success in the technical/ engineering domain.  
Demonstrable experience in migrating software and/ or embedded test organizations from manual to automated test environments. Experience in the use of simulation techniques, and other advanced methodologies, to support test engineering is preferred.
Good working knowledge of developing software and hardware products within a regulated industry. Knowledge of operating under medical device industry standards is preferred but not essential e.g. ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 60601
Experience in Agile software delivery and operations management.
Experience in mobile computing (iOS, Android) and cloud computing (AWS or Azure)
Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices in the applicable area of engineering/technical specialization.
Experience leading high performance teams.
Possesses strong technical and multitasking abilities to solve business problems as they occur.
