Roles and responsibilities would be
Plan, create and execute manual and automated test activities for web and mobile applications.
Participate in reviews of automated and manual tests
Enhance automation coverage thereby minimizing existing manual testing processes.
Validate implemented functionality co-relating with client requirements and viewing from the user’s perspective.
Must understand the client’s requirements detailed to specifications.
Perform System Testing to ensure the delivery of product and UAT support for functionality.
Excellent team player who can work collaboratively with different teams and influence their decisions in a positive way.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in automation framework (Selenium), automation strategy, scripting, execution, analysis and reporting.
Must possess good automation testing and coding skills and hands-on programming experience in languages like Core Java.
Must have experience with various automation frameworks such as BDD using Cucumber and TestNG.
Must have experience in Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, GIT, and databases.
Must have hands-on experience in QA automation using Selenium web driver
Should have sound knowledge in REST API Skills
Familiarity with SQL
Ability to work closely with the development team to execute the test plan.
Sound knowledge of SDLC, Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and different testing methodologies.
Excellent knowledge in testing skills (provide estimations, design test plan, and test strategy, writing test scenarios, cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs).
Good experience in security testing and performance testing would be an added advantage.
Good to have been exposed to the e-commerce domain and web services.
