In this role, you will…
Participate in business requirements workshops and sessions. Identify gaps in requirements and communicate the gaps
Apply knowledge of software architecture and enterprise applications to evaluate functional design documents and Software Requirement Specification documents to understand the technical design of the development team to address the business requirement
Collaborate with business, technical teams, PM and Scrum Master to understand the business expectations
Analyze software functional and non-functional requirements, and work closely with Development/ SQA to understand what needs to be automated
Automate new cases and maintain existing automated test cases. Work with bugs throughout their lifecycle
Monitor regular test execution (new builds/regression), analyze reports, troubleshoot & investigate failures.
Generate and implement improvements for automation framework
Execute integration testing for end-to-end test scenarios in Quote-to-Cash cycle between different application including CPQ, ERP and Web Applications (including payment applications)
Work with the objective of failing use cases and identifying all possible defects
Document the defects and bugs and manage the defect/bug dashboards for each project using defect management applications. Work with PM or Scrum master to ensure proper attention is accorded to the open defects
Demonstrate expertise in the business process flows and work on the strategy for executing regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not impacted with new changes
Complete SQA deliverables within timelines of project or sprint boards
Demonstrate ownership, responsibility and accountability for testing and validation with complete focus on external customer experience and internal business user experience
In this role, you’ll need…
BS/MS degree or equivalent years of experience
8+ years of overall web application/systems level testing, scripting and black-box testing experience
Experience in SQL and postgresql
Understand the publish subscribe model and experience in working with KAFKA/Tibco
3+ years hand on experience in test automation (Python and JavaScript )
Experience of creating integration and API/service tests. Also needed step definitions in Framework.
Experience with acceptance test and behavior-driven test methodologies (Feature file creation)
Experience with Continuous Integration (preferably within Bamboo, ROCS)
Thorough understanding of the role of SQA in SDLC, testing processes and methodologies
Experience and/or understanding of multi-platform environments (Linux, Windows)
Experience working with at least one of the major SQL database engines (Oracle, SQL Server)
Experience working in distributed/cross-cultural/Agile team
Experience in Order to Cash process and ERP testing
