Job Description

Self-managed individual having strong hands-on testing experience 
Strong experience working on complex SQL queries and understanding on database platforms
Creating and maintaining Test Plans, project estimations and detailed testing coverage
Design Automation test strategies, test frameworks based on the user requirements
Proven and demonstrable experience in producing high quality test documentation, Test reports and management information 
Proficient in API test automation using frameworks such as Rest assured, Rest API, postman
Work closely with software developers to perform early testing on components prior to integration builds
Analyze business requirements, finding current gaps in test coverage 
Plan, schedule and perform manual and automated software tests
Manage Automated testing solutions and optimize the current automation frameworks
Participate in a scrum team, agile format, using Azure and associated plug-ins to track tickets and deployments
Good to have exposure in implementing Automation solutions via CI/CD pipelines
Report QA status, as appropriate, to keep project stakeholders informed on deliverables and timelines.

Duties & accountabilities
Operational Support
Work with the QA Manager to meet the project deadlines 
Design QA tasks with appropriate estimation, follow Azure best practices and processes 
Support other QA team members in development and implementation of technical solutions.

Technical
Strong Knowledge SQL and database platforms
Experience of testing tools & frameworks including Azure, Jira, Confluence 
Should be aware of latest technology trends and their relevance in seeking out technical solutions
Good understanding of relational databases, SQL, stored procedures and other data manipulation technologies.
Understanding XML files and interpreting results provided in the format.
Knowledge of defect/test management tools e.g., qTest
Exposure to Automation frameworks including Selenium and BDD
