The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of professional experience working as part of a QA organization primarily on automation, test planning. The candidate should be self-motivated and passionate about quality. The candidate must demonstrate a strong technical competency in an environment that values accountability, quality, commitment and innovation.
What skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed:
• Overall, 6 – 8 years of experience in testing highly scalable, high performance and fault tolerant enterprise storage products/SaaS platforms
• Well versed with general automation concepts and various testing methods
• Hands on experience working on Linux and Unix platforms
• Hands on experience manual and automation test suite execution
• Hands on experience in scripting languages like Python, Perl, Ruby
• Hands on testing the highly scalable and performant enterprise products, web applications, REST APIs using tools like Selenium, Postman, n/w analysers, open source tools, code coverage tools etc.
• Extra credits for experience working with various virtualization platforms like VMWare, Hyper-V, RHV is a plus.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and various orchestration platforms like OpenShift/GKE is a big plus.
Skills Needed
BE (comp) or Masters in Computer Science
5+ years of software industry experience
Programming skills in C/C++, and scripting skills in Perl, Python, Shell is a must
Knowledge of various types of virtualization software (VMware, HyperV ) is a plus
Experience of working on various operating systems (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, RedHat, SUSE) is essential.
Any Experience in code coverage analysis tools is a plus
Good communication skills.
