• Individual contributor with 3+ year experience in test engineer role, Ensures the executability of the System test along with the project plan.
• He / She reports to the System Test Lead
Responsibilities:
• Ensures the executability of the System test cases along with the project plan.
• Supports the definition of the System Test plan
• Supports the distribution of the System Test Environment.
• Participates in analysis of System requirement specification addressed to the System test team
• Specifies the System test cases.
• Approves the execution of the System Test cases.
• Aligns the system test specification with the Function Manager.
• Prepares the System Test Report for responsible modules
• Supports the closing of the System test activities.
• Performs and participates in peer document (e.g. test plan, test specifications) reviews.
• In case of deviations, escalates to the Software Test Lead and provides adequate information and proposals for decision-making.
Professional Experience
• Min 2 years SW test validation experience (Sys level test knowledge is plus).
• Good programming skills in CAPL, C, Python
• NI LabVIEW & NI TestStand experience is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of software acceptance testing and accelerated life testing.
• Previous knowledge in building Test Automation solutions.
• Ability to be able to react/respond quickly to issues and be able to think on your feet
• Mindset of continuous improvement,Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in software engineering and testing (requirements analysis/test case writing methodology, traceability concept, test case execution, automation, reporting)
• Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE)
• Knowledge on Vector canOE,CanAPE,Can Analyzer is a plus.
• Knowledge on diagnostic, UDS protocol, ISO14229.
• Knowledge on CAPL programming.
Bachelor / Master’s in ECE / EEE / Automotive electronics engineering with 2-4 Years of experience.
