The Sr. Test Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications by leveraging their expertise in testing tools and frameworks. With a focus on manual end-to-end business process assurance the analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in testing with proficiency in tools like SNOW RALLY HP ALM and Jira.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive testing of web applications to ensure functionality performance and security meet company standards.
Utilize test metrics and reporting to provide insights into the quality and progress of testing activities.
Collaborate with developers business analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
Execute manual end-to-end business process assurance tests to validate the complete workflow of applications.
Use testing tools and frameworks to automate repetitive tasks and improve testing efficiency.
Document and track defects using tools like SNOW RALLY HP ALM and Jira ensuring timely resolution.
Provide detailed test reports and feedback to the development team to facilitate continuous improvement.
Participate in test planning estimation and risk assessment activities to ensure thorough coverage.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing methodologies.
Support user acceptance testing by coordinating with end-users and addressing any issues that arise.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in testing tools and technologies.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing documentation and knowledge base.
Work in a hybrid model balancing remote and on-site work to maximize productivity and collaboration.
Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in web application testing with a focus on manual and automated testing techniques.
Demonstrate proficiency in using testing tools such as SNOW RALLY HP ALM and Jira for defect tracking and management.
Have a solid understanding of test metrics and reporting to drive data-driven decision-making.
Exhibit basic programming skills to support test automation and scripting tasks.
