QA Specialist with strong expertise in functional end-to-end testing. Candidates must have experience working with large teams on client-facing web applications from the ground up.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in manual functional testing.
In depth understanding of software development and test methodologies and processes
Should have strong experience in performing software system test (sanity, functional, regression, integration etc.)
Should have strong experience with testing using a variety of browsers and operating systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Should be able to work effectively as an individual or in conjunction with a team.
Assist on the preparation of detailed test plan based on the overall verification strategy
Prepare test cases and test scripts to be use during the testing phase of the project
Document results of test performed during the testing phase of the project
Prepare test reports and report status of the testing activities
Log and tracked defects using project defined defect tracking tools.
GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS:
Experience with test automation using Selenium or any other automation tool would be an added advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree, Master degree is a plus.
