Analyze Business Requirements:
Analyze business and technical requirements, design test cases
Communicate and document testing efforts and technical aspects of projects
Assess compatibility of requirements with company quality standards
Ability to work cross functionally across the locations
Effectively communicate with project leaders/respective stakeholders regarding the scope and limits of testing and analysis efforts
Automation Knowledge
Experience in Selenium and cucumber is must. Experience in other automation tools could be an added advantage
Creating and maintaining the test-automation framework/infrastructure
Should have experience in writing Automation Test Cases and Scenarios. Should have used test repositories like TFS / GIT
Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts
Experience creating and executing automated test suites
Knowledge/Experience in any of the programming languages like C#, Python, Shell, Java, and Go Lang will be an added advantage
Test Planning and execution
Design and development of detailed testing plan(s) and then integrate them with the project schedule
Understand the customer raised bug and work with development team to ensure the quality of the result
Identify potential risks and seek testing approaches to manage that risk
Ability to provide input for designs, functional specifications, and project requirements, Software Testing
Execute test cases for the following types of testing: Functional, Regression and Integration testing along with Database Validations
Analyze defects with the goal of being isolated and reproducible
Clearly document issues and bugs
Work closely with developers in debugging and fixing defects
Work closely with developers in monitoring systems
Experience building integration tests
Management and Communication of testing effort
Ability to provide weekly/monthly reports to the upper management
Ability to work with virtual and diverse consulting and partner teams and organizations
Assist or lead the product test designs ensuring comprehensive coverage
Manage defect reporting and tracking of project
Communicate and document testing efforts and technical aspects of projects
Minimum Qualifications:
BE/MCA- preferably in Computer Science
Minimum experience for this position is 7+ years in that 3+ years automation experience should be preferable
Experience writing detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases
Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written.
Experience in leading the team could be an added advantage
Experience in writing SQL queries and exposure to MySQL DB.
Should be well versed in defect life cycle
Experience in Jira/Salesforce could be an added advantage
Experience in production support processes could be an added advantage
