The Sr, Test Engineer is an integral part of the product team in the agile software delivery process and enriches the team in the software testing area.
What You Will Do:
Definition, development, implementation and documentation of tests for the Customer Experience
Platform (CEP) and its product FendtONE
Ensuring the software and system quality across all development phases in the CEP / IoT areas
Implementation of development-accompanying integration and system tests in test environments, on hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test benches and vehicles
Examination of acceptance criteria from user stories and implementation of test cases and test scenarios
Leading the definition and construction of test automation and environments
Coach for no code / low code test automation engineers
Documentation and reporting of identified error patterns
Participation in the coordination of the respective implementation and solution strategies
Review / verification of the effectiveness of the troubleshooting measures carried out
System acceptance and optimization of the overall system
Software approval for validation
Processing of bugs / incidents from field tests and customer (service) feedback
Participation in project planning as well as helping to design solution concepts for IoT applications in close cooperation with the internal departments and in coordination with external partners
Active participation and preparation for agile ceremonies such as Product Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Refinements, Sprint Review and Retrospectives
Mentoring other test engineers and IT analysts
What You Will Bring:
Atleast 5 years of relevant business experience
In-depth expertise in testing server, desktop and mobile applications
Ideally, experience in smart farming and/or IoT systems
Experience in handling CAN bus or TCP / IP, HTML is an advantage
Experience in Test Automation (low code / no code solutions)
Experience in working within an agile SCRUM team is desirable
Basic knowledge of agronomy and agricultural vehicles is an advantage
Who You Are:
Completed specialist degree in engineering and / or technical training in the field of computer science, electrical engineering or comparable with relevant professional experience
Exhibits Self-Confidence and good communication skills
High level of proficiency in English language (written and verbal)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
