Role and responsibilities:
• Building test plans, test suites, and manual or automated test cases for assigned changes.
• Building up environments independently to test assigned work
• Executing manual and automated tests
• Reporting the results.
• Create accurate, thoughtful and comprehensive defect reports.
• Investigate customer problems referred by technical support.
• Engage and participate on an Agile team of a world-class software developers.
• Apply independence and creativity to problem solving across project assignments.
• Effectively communicate with team members, project managers and clients, as required.
Technical skills requirements
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,
• Manual Testing
• Test Lifecycle
• Test Case creation
• Financial Servives Domain
• Writing and execute test cases using automation tools like Selenium Web driver.
• Selenium
• Java
• TestNG
• Agile/Scrum development.
• Full SDLC from development to production deployment
• Automation Testing
• Specflow
Nice-to-have skills
• Preferable a SDET
• Exposure to Mobile App testing is an added advantage.
Qualifications
• 5 to 7 years of work experience in systems or application development
• B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer Science background is preferred.
