Work with PLM / developers to review/provide feedback on requirements / design
Work with field teams to understand how the product is deployed and ensure that test coverage reflects the real product deployments
Understanding how a feature is implemented in order to develop test cases for the functionality, performance, stress, and fault conditions.
Installing, configuring and troubleshooting the E2E integrated solution under test.
Execute manual tests of function, performance, stability
Automating your test cases within an established automated framework to ensure no regressions in product functionality are released
Monitoring regression results for multiple release branches and analyzing results to determine test or product fails.
Providing accurate defect submissions which communicate customer impact and provide information to assist with the defect investigation and resolution.
Identifying level of test coverage required and evaluates customer feedback to identify weak areas
Ability to work independent and collaborative
Development of reusable tools for test automation and identify new methods for automation
Ready to work with Global Engineering team encompassing multiple time-zones
What skills you bring:
BE or ME (or equivalent degree) degree in Engineering or Computer Science
3+ years of Software testing experience
2+ years of experience in in Automation testing using Python
Experience in UI automation tools like Testcafe.
Experience in any of the python automation framework example ROBOT, Pytest.
Experience in Rest API testing.
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Experience in using JIRA and Altassian products.
Knowledge with Linux system configuration and Virtual Machines
Experience with Cloud Deployment environments: OpenStack, AWS, Azure and GCP
Hands-on networking knowledge (TCP/IP and Layer 7 applications, other communication protocols in LAN/WAN environments; familiar with routers, switches and firewalls)
A self-motivated learner who can adapt quickly to change
Strong analytical skills and adept at presenting and interpreting quantitative information in the most appropriate format
Excellent debugging, troubleshooting capabilities of complex system and solution level problems
Knowledge of network management protocols, such as NETCONF is a plus
