Seeking an experienced V&V engineer for our Process Instrumentation R&D team.
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, automating and executing tests for low to complex functional, performance and system integration requirements.

Collaborate with product management teams in requirements gathering and definition and ensure the requirements are testable
Define test specifications covering low to complex functional, performance and system integration requirements
Develop and document test plans, execute tests and generate reports
Develop and run automated tests covering the test specifications
Design test jigs/fixtures and quick prototypes for simulation and diagnostics
Debug test failures and analyze root causes
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Collaborate effectively with different functional teams spread across multiple locations
Qualifications
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following selection criteria:
Engineering degree (Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, or related discipline)
8+ years’ relevant experience in design verification and validation of leading-edge technical products and solutions using embedded electronic system architecture.
Strong experience with testing of IoT products within an Industrial environment utilizing technologies such as microprocessors/microcontrollers, sensors and transmitters, digital and analog signal interfacing, ethernet and wireless/cellular communication.
Very good understanding of industrial field devices, actuators, sensors and edge computing devices used in process automation applications.
Experience in developing test tools, simulators and automated test frameworks using common object oriented and scripting languages such as C#, Python, PowerShell, NodeJS, etc.) and LabVIEW applications and deploying them successfully in the lab environment
Ability to interpret engineering design documents such as schematics, assembly drawings and software code
Hands on experience with debugging microcontroller systems and serial (uart) using debuggers such as JTAG, SWD etc. and using tools such as protocol analyzers, exercisers, logic analyzers, etc.
Familiarity with quick prototyping hardware platforms like arduino, raspberry pi etc.,
Networking background with knowledge in communication protocols such as Fieldbus, HART, PROFINET, Ethernet-APL, Modbus, OPC/UA, TCP/IP, Wireless radio and application security is a plus
Good understanding of product development and verification methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Lean) and tools such as Azure Devops, Jira etc.
Strong analytical and logical reasoning ability possessing good judgment and interpersonal skills.
Innovative and dynamic with effective communication skills, especially in inter-cultural aspects
