Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for a Test Engineer who will run a series of tests through all stages of software development to identify potential malfunctions and recommend improvements.
The position has the following responsibilities:
Creating detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Providing feedback on requirements and design specifications
Creating detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Estimating, prioritizing, and coordinating testing activities with other testers
Designing, developing, and executing automation scripts
Identifying and recording bugs
Performing thorough regression testing
Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Working with developers and product managers to identify system requirements
Tracking quality metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts
Desired Candidate Profile
5+ years of experience in Windows-based software testing
Excellent written and verbal communication (English)
Experience in automated testing using Ranorex
Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
Knowledge of JIRA, Jenkins, and GitHub
Knowledge of any programming/scripting language will be an added advantage (C, C#, Python, Java, Lua)
BE/BTech/BSc/MSc in Electronics/Computer Science or related field
