Responsibilities:
Work with BA's to understand current EOD setup and requirements for change.
Create and execute test scenario's to verify EOD runs both from performance, stability and output perspective.
Run EOD's in CTRL-M and do basic debugging in case of job failures.
Coordinate and interact with other teams within the capital markets area that are impacted by the change.
Skills
Must have
• Overall 4+ years of experience in IT
• At least 2 years of experience on Calypso Testing or EOD/Batch testing within capital markets technology using CTRL-M
• Experience in regression execution, automated test execution, test processes,
• Good knowledge on Capital Markets Batch processing (EOD)
• Technically minded with strong SQL, some UNIX
• Comfortable with test planning and execution
• Some financial markets knowledge of one or more of the following (Rates, Commodities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives)
Nice to have
• Experience in testing EOD/CTRL-M or Autosys scheduling in a large-scale, enterprise-wide, critical platforms.
• Good exposure to Market data concepts, configuration in any of the products like Murex / Calypso / Kondor / Orchestrade
• Advanced SQL, UNIX, Excel Macro
• Intermediate financial market understanding covering IRD, Fixed Income asset classes
• Familiar with various DevOps, Source Code management and Automation tools
