Responsibilities:
• Complete all automated testing for specific features and functionality including library development, interactions with 3rd parties, and automation scripting
• As a SDET, build a test-driven engineering culture that drives improvements in quality
• Have a strong ability to develop automation framework for web applications that will be delivered as SaaS Services on AWS Cloud Infrastructure
• Designs, codes, tests, debug, and documents software, and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets business needs
• Adopt and apply industry leading DevOps principles
• Support the software we build in Production
• Mentor lesser experienced engineers on the team
Preferred Qualifications:
• 7+ years of expertise in building and maintaining test automation frameworks, such as Selenium or Cypress
• Proficient in any programming language, preferably Java or JavaScript
• Hands on Experience on Selenium WebDriver with Java (Knowledge of Page Object Model design pattern)
• Hands on experience on Jenkins to build CI/CD pipelines for QA
• Ability to work independently as part of an Agile squad and drive test automation development for multiple applications built using various tech stacks.
• Experience working with core AWS components [EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, ECS, etc]
• Experience developing serverless (API Gateway/Lambda) and event driven (Eventbridge/SQS) applications
• Performance testing experience using JMeter/LoadRunner
• Deep knowledge in at least two testing frameworks (SoapUI, Cucumber, Jest, Postman, Cypress, etc)
• Hands on experience using Git for source control
• Strong knowledge of the QA lifecycle
