Primary Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum team with team members from various domains.
Independently define and monitor quality assurance metrics for continuous quality & process improvements.
Design, create and maintain testing frameworks.
Drive automation through Continuous Testing (CT) integration in our CI/CD pipelines.
Perform various kinds of testing on our platform, wherever relevant (Exploratory Testing, UI testing, Performance testing, Database testing etc.).
Maintain complete and relevant documentations throughout the SSDLC process.
Identify risks (software bugs, security risks), devise mitigation plans, and estimate efforts to meet project timelines.
Incorporate security testing (static code analysis, dynamic code analysis, interactive security testing, fuzz testing etc.) wherever .
Automation integration with cloud-based device environment.
Contribute to new technology evaluation and continuous process improvement.
Skills and Requirements:
Required:
2+ years of SDET/Automation experience.
Prior experience in developing automation tools or frameworks to test web applications.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools.
Knowledge of documentation requirements at different stages of SSDLC.
Programming and scripting experience (in any language, preferably Python or bash) is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
BS degree in computer science, engineering, or any other STEM field.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Azure DevOps.
Experience with robot framework.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure (preferred), AWS, GCP etc.
Good knowledge on the DevOps tools and processes.
Knowledge of basic information security requirements and security test tools.
Experience with SQL and databases.
