Work closely with team to plan and strategize the testing process to deliver high-quality product.
Engage with seniors/customer/product manager to understand the requirements from business/end user perspective and test the product accordingly, ensuring all the acceptance criteria are met
Provide good visibility into product quality along with Risks & Mitigation plan to stakeholders
Thoroughly validate the product functionality through manual testing and Automation testing add tests the regression bucket as the application scales
Explore new testing tools and frameworks to recommend the right solution to solve business problem.
Qualification: BE/ B.Tech with 2 to 3.6 years of experience.
We are seeking candidates with:
Demonstrated success in architecting and building a test framework while exhibiting engineering best practices.
Advanced proficiency with cloud-hosted continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Groovy, GitLab CI, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, etc.).
Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as JAVA, JavaScript, and Python.
Knowledge of frameworks such as Cypress, Espresso, XCUITest, and Postman.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to review and apply architectural documentation.
Be able to write tests and consider which tests should and should not be written.
QA Mindset.
Be able to consider the tradeoffs when testing and which testing strategies work for what situation.
Problem solving for difficult automation tasks and excellent analytical skills.
Strong testing experience on web based applications, test planning, and test strategy.
Good exposure to testing on mobile devices (Android/iOS) would be a plus”.
Coverage (functional & non-functional) and risk forecasting is a must.
Good working knowledge of database (SQL) and server side validations.
Good hands-on experience using any functional automation tool/framework.
Good experience on any test management, defect tracking, and configuration management tool.
Should have a decent working knowledge of scripting (Java, Python,C#, JavaScript).
