We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Software Development Test Engineer to join the Webex Notify testing team who provide testing and support for our existing product and customers. As a Test engineer, you will need the skills and experience to focus on testing regular development releases and be involved in full test life cycle.
The must-haves skills:
• Experience in Manual and Automation testing.
• Experience in designing a test plan and writing test cases based on the requirement.
• Good in Test Automation using Selenium Tool.
• Good at creating POM Classes and Test Classes in c#.
• Good knowledge of Selenium Web driver, and nunit framework.
• Good experience in performance testing using jMeter.
• Generate test report, test signoff and test exit reports.
• Experience in testing SOAP and Rest APIs.
• Experience in using tools – PostMan, SOAP UI, jMeter
• Basic knowledge in writing MSSQL Queries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The nice-to-haves:
• Azure DevOps Git/ Git Hub and any other CI/CD tools.
• Experience with test management tools- QAComplete, Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge in Data Driven Framework.
• knowledge in WAPT (Web application Load Test) Tool.
• Knowledge in XML, JSON, and HTML.
• Basic understanding of microservices and docker containers.
A day in the life
• Participate in daily Stand-up team meetings to update the work status and progress.
• Reviewing test plans and test cases to ensure that all possible test cases are identified and covered in the testing process.
• Prepare test data and test environment.
• Working with application developers to identify defects in applications before they reach users.
• Designing tests to ensure that software meets requirements for performance and usability.
• Write functional and non-functional test cases and run them to produce the test reports.
• Identifying any problems with the software development process that could cause bugs or errors in the final product.
• Recording test results and reporting bugs to developers for fixing.
• Monitoring test progress to ensure that testing is proceeding as planned.
• Developing automated tests using c# language.
• Create automation test scripts wherever possible and run them to produce the results.
• Participate in test plan reviews, peer reviews.
• Prepare the test exit report and test signoff documents.
