Developing, enhancing and executing manual and automated functional tests using Javascript / Python
Developing and Executing non-functional (e.g. performance and Load) tests
Work with Product and Engineering to ensure high quality, robust and reliable software products.
Develop, configure and maintain test plans and test automation suites to validate the functionality and performance of software components.
Develop tools and processes to improve the quality, efficiency and completeness of tests
Enhance and extend the automation framework by adding new test script methods, utilitary methods
Contribute to development, maintenance and monitoring of CI/CD pipelines of Automation Frameworks
Estimate test activities and coordinate with team members for work planning.
Record test results and report/verify software defect fixes.
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Perform manual smoke, validation, and exploratory testing when the need arises but highly motivated to script automated test suites
What you'll bring to the team
Overall 2+ years in testing, with experience in test automation.
Experience testing RESTful web services and web APIs.
Experience with automated test frameworks (xUnit, Pytest, JUnit, etc).
Proven development skill with at least one programming language (Python, Javascript, Java, C#, Python, VB, etc.).
Hands on experience with Selenium and API Automation testing
Enthusiasm for "breaking stuff" - be highly driven to find bugs and help us develop the best products on the market
Self-motivated and proactive with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, QA mindset, and Software Engineering processes
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to react well to changes, work with diverse teams and multi-task on multiple products and projects.
Create workflow automations in different testing frameworks (ex: WebDriverIO, Specflow).
Knowledge of white/black box level testing, system and performance testing of applications.
Strong experience in software release, models, lifecycles and methodologies.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Nice to have:
Experience with Docker technologies
Experience with bug tracking tools, such as JIRA
Experience with version control systems, such as GitHub
Experience with Continuous Integration systems.
Cloud ecosystems experience.
