Primary Responsibilities:
Acts as a point of contact for inter and intra business/IT team interaction
Represents the software testing team as well as enables customer relationship
Coaching, training, and mentoring QA engineers and ensuring that quality standards are met across the entire team.
Deciding the test budget and schedule
Planning the entire testing process
Define the number of requirements in BRD/FRD
Define the number of systems impacted and to be tested
Define the types of Testing needed based on requirements (Unit testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, SIT, UAT, End to End Testing, Load testing, Security testing, Performance testing etc.)
Define testing approach & automation tool if applicable
Adding new defects, re-testing, defect triage, regression testing and test sign off
Checking the availability of the resources to execute testing activities
Identifying the testing activities for each team member
Define the setup required for each environment and interfacing systems
Define backup of test data and restore strategy
Identifying if the process of testing is going in sync with the software development
Release management plan with appropriate version history that will make sure test execution for all modification in that release
Preparing the status report of testing activities
Sharing updates on testing with the project manager
Planning pre and post-test meetings
Arranging walk-through for test design and procedure
Ensuring that the test plan is complete and list all risks that you can estimate
Give a clear plan to mitigate the risks also a contingency plan
Provide technical knowledge and analysis, and provides advice on problems which require knowledge of the subject matter for effective solutions
Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience testing all phases of QA efforts to successfully execute medium & large enterprise Salesforce implementation projects
Minimum 1+ years of test automation using, using tools such as Selenium, Copado,Rational Functional Tester, or similar
Experience with defect reporting and tracking
Experience in SFDC QA automation (either using selenium or any other tool)
Experience testing Salesforce User Interfaces out of the box customizations
Experience and desire to work in an Onsite & OffShore delivery environment
Proficiency with Creating, organizing & executing test case scenarios
Proficiency creating and executing/running Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Selenium Webdriver, Java, etc.
Proven ability debugging Test Cases and fixing errors.
Ability to test Salesforce including modification of standard objects and fields and creation of custom objects and fields, formulas, validation rules, and duplicate rules
Proven ability debugging Test Cases and fixing errors
Demonstrated ability to test across multiple technology platforms and business domains in support of integration and end to end testing efforts
