You will be responsible for:
Development and execution of test plans and strategies for Genesis High Speed products. This will include manual, automation and interactive testing.
Setting up of system tests for new feature testing and ensuring those system tests remain up and running.
To contribute in conjunction with other members of the team to ensure all software errors are identified and reported.
Monitor system test results and perform first level diagnostics.
Assist with resolution and reproduction of user software problems.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the software by working in conjunction with software testers and developers based in the Europe.
Professional qualifications
3-5 years’ experience in similar previous roles specifically including 2 years’ experience in software testing of data acquisition software. This may include some relevant experience in developing, enhancing and maintaining test automation framework(s) for desktop/web applications using test automation tools such as QTP/UFT, Win App Driver, TestComplete, Selenium WebDriver, etc. with C#, Java, Python or any scripting language.
Demonstrable programming experience in object oriented programming languages C#.
Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Computer Science or Information Technology.
Knowledge of testing processes, tools and methodologies.
Knowledge / experience of Agile Software Development & Testing, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
Knowledge and experience of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) using Jenkins, AzureDevOps or similar.
Knowledge and experience of Jira and Confluence or similar would be advantageous.
Knowledge on Test and Measurement would be an advantage.
Candidates who also hold Agile or ISTQB Software Test certification would be an advantage.
