Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain and execute smoke, regression, functional, performance and other test cases as needed. Ensure test cases have full traceability back to business requirements and technical specifications.
• Be able to understand the software internals, debug issues, review logs and write automated tests with scripting and automation tools.
• Communicate the testing metrics to the stakeholders on regular basis.
• Log and retest defects.
• Identify and maintain test data requirements.
• Assist on internal process improvement initiatives.
• Mentor the L2/ L3 engineers to bring them up to speed.
Skills:
• Experince: 4-7 years
• Must have – functional testing experience from writing to executing the test cases .
• Must have - UI automation and understanding of the framework: Selenium
• Must have - REST API testing and automation experience.
• Must have problem solving skills and open to code using any programming language: Java.
• Good to have – Performance testing and DevOPS experience,Experience working in a CI/CD environment.
• Working experience on Microservices , DB would be great.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems / Computer Science / Engineering / Science / Mathematics with computer background.
