Key responsibilities include:
Design, develop and implement a scalable test automation framework and strategy using Selenium WebDriver or any other UI testing Framework.
Develop automation framework for API testing with Robot Framework, SOAPUI/Ready API/Postman or any other suitable framework.
Create test strategy, test plans and test cases for projects managed through Agile development methodology.
Develop and maintain methods and libraries needed to rapidly grow and scale automation suites.
Develop scripts for Web Services, Rest Services and mobile applications.
Integrate test scripts in CI/CD pipeline
Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.
Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.
Establish test automation processes and involve in evaluating/planning the automation roadmap.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
4-6 years of experience in software development life cycle with at least 2-3 years with QA automation.
Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer.
Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
Familiarity with programming script languages including Java and VBScript, C#, Python.
