Responsibilities:
Responsible for Functional and System testing of Mandiant Security Validation product and features that result in an Outstanding level of product Quality.
Work with QA Manager/Lead, Review product requirements and functional specification, Prepare the corresponding Test Strategy and detailed Test Case specification.
Work with QA Manager/Lead to prepare Test execution scoping and schedules.
Lead individual feature testing in both manual and automated testing to accomplish the necessary product test schedules, coverage, and quality goals.
Participate in the development of the QA automated test platform automated test cases.
Participate in daily Agile stand-ups, provide timely project Status reports with appropriate quality metrics and test tracking information.
Pursue and analyze customer problems as you strive to deliver the highest quality to end users. Track customer problems for root cause analysis, reproduce in lab, and close gaps in QA test design and coverage.
Execute phased testing with multiple feature code drops in an Agile framework. Execute test cases (manual and automated) and investigate and debug test failures. Track test cycle execution status to provide periodic updates on test progress and completion
Provide feedback to help improve the product development process.
Special emphasis on testing with detailed white box knowledge to cover complex customer scenarios. Understand highly scaled production configurations and debug system level issues.
Develop basic and extended automated test suites for product deployment and functional regression testing. Define the prioritized set of test cases for sanity, extended regression, deployment verification, and advanced system testing automation.
Create Epics and Stories that comprehensively cover all aspects of the feature under test including manual and automated tests.
Qualifications
Passionate about Quality, collaborate with geo-diverse teams, Hands-on manual and automated testing.
Good understanding of Automation tools, testing in public and on-prem clouds, and working closely with Customer deployments.
2-5 years of SQA testing and automation experience in Linux/Networks/Security/Cloud environments.
Good knowledge of AWS/GCloud/Azure/VMWare based automated testing.
Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby, Rest API, Expect, Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience with automation frameworks such as Jenkins, Robot, TestCafe, WebdriverIO.
Good knowledge of IP networking and Security.
Good SQL knowledge, including writing queries to analyze DB data.
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence (wiki), GitHub (git).
BS degree in CS/CE or related technical field is required – a graduate degree in CS/CE is a definite plus.
Good English verbal and written communication skills required to participate in daily status calls, online Slack/Teams messaging, and preparation of various Test documentation and status
