Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be accountable for testing software applications and integrations as well as providing recommendations to improve software programming practices. This will include Functional testing, UI testing, Database testing, Security testing, and Performance testing.
The incumbent will develop and implement Automated and Manual testing as per the project requirements / specifications.
The incumbent will develop Test Plans, Test Strategy, Test Scenarios and Test Cases based on the project requirements/ specifications for testing the applications.
The incumbent will conduct code reviews for detecting functional defects and provide feedback/suggestions to improve the quality of the code.
The incumbent will be responsible for defect identification during the Integration/System test phase.
The incumbent will support the creation and maintenance of test reports, test data, tools, and scripts.
Experience
University degree (B.Tech/MCA/MSc IT).
3 to 5 years of software testing experience.
Strong understanding of Software testing lifecycle (STLC).
Experience in testing applications developed using Microsoft.Net technology stack.
Experience in manual and automated testing using Cypress with BDD, keyword driven & Data driven frameworks (Experience in Python scripting will be a plus).
Expertise in defect tracking system and bug life cycle using Azure DevOps.
Experience in Azure DevOps environment.
Experience in automating Cypress Tests in Azure Pipelines.
Experience in Database testing.
Knowledge of JMeter/Blaze Meter Performance Tool.
Excellent analytical skills.
Ability to work in a team with a positive approach.
Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver quality work.
