Role
This role will be responsible for providing Quality leadership in Software testing technologies. Understand the current functionality of the system and own the Quality delivery of the next releases with big functional enhancements.
Typically involved in the test-planning phase of a computer system and be required to provide work estimates.
Performs review of deliverables produced by other members of the IT department throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle, for completeness and detail ensuring the specifications are of a high quality and can be used to write test scripts. Ownership of QA Documentation for defects, procedures and process. Provide technical support and leadership to other members within and cross teams.
Education & Other Qualifications
BE/ME/MCA/MCS/MSc degree from reputed Institutes/University
Technical Skills
8-12 years of Software Engineering experience with a proven track record of Quality Assurance and System testing of hosted solutions or commercially released Web applications including multi-platform/browser support.
Strong knowledge and thorough understanding of SDLC, STLC process, CI/CD and quality assurance methodologies.
Expertise in preparing and reviewing Test Design, Test Strategy, Test cases and other testing related artifacts.
Responsible for QA team estimates, Test Planning, Work allocation, tracking and Priority Management in one or more projects.
Experience working with APIs - SOAP/REST services and Backend testing frameworks using industry automated tools such as JMeter, SoapUI, SOAPSonar, Postman etc.
Experience on developing Test automation frameworks for Web applications with tools like Selenium Webdriver, TestNG and UFT.
Experience in managing version control system such as SVN and Continuous integration (such as Jenkins or Bamboo).
Knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle and able to write SQL queries.
Exposure to Agile Development and know how to align QA efforts in the agile environment.
