The Intermediate level, under moderate supervision, conducts a wide range of quality-control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Executes moderately complex tests according to established plans and scripts, documents problems in an issue log, and retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved. Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow. Drafts and revises moderately complex test plans and scripts. Identifies, recommends and implements changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies. Assists in planning and scheduling testing.

Requirements Gathering for the changes to be implemented
Writing Functional test cases and Scenarios and getting it reviewed with Business Team
Creates test data files with valid and invalid records; drafts and revises test plans and scripts.
To work with less dependency in E2E Testing.
Effective coordination with dev team for triaging the defects.
Efficient collaboration with business for Scenarios and test results review and clarifications
Supporting during weekends for the Production deployment.
Regression Testing support - both Manual and Automation
Good exposure in Selenium Cucumber framework for Automating regression scripts
Executing automated scripts and reviewing the Test results.
Hands on in using JIRA for defects tracking.
Educational Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech - (Preferred Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology)
Yrs of Experience: 4-5 yrs of experience
Web Application Testing Hands On
Exposure to SQL queries
API Testing using either Postman or SOAP UI
Selenium Automation (Java)
Hands on in JIRA or any Change Management Tool
