Daily Functions:
• Automate test cases on real Hardware / Head Units or automation on the simulator.
• Analyse automation test results along with failure analysis.
• Reports issues to team lead / developer.
• Writing & maintain test automation and test automation framework.
• Work with QA lead on updating automation status on test management tool.
• This role is responsible for developing and automating functional test, integration test, system tests and performance test
• Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work.
Requirements:
• Ideally 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience in QA automation in Automotive domain – IVI / Infotainment System testing, Connected Car testing
• Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong self-reliance
• Exceptional attention to detail, interpersonal communication, and managing QA tasks independently.
• Experience working in organizations using Agile / Scrum-based product development methodologies
Education:
Bachelor or Diploma degree in computer science, engineering, or related experience
Mandatory Skills:
• Excellent QA skills - automation testing - includes application, Embedded SW/HW, API / Interface, Web UI, Mobile test automation in Automotive domain – IVI / Infotainment System testing, Connected Car testing
• Proficient in writing automation code in Python or any other equivalent lang. Should be flexible to adapt to programming langs.
• Contributed to test automation based on Python, Java etc.
• Quick learner and ready to take challenges.
• Excellent team player.
• Self-motivated, responsible, accountable and have the discipline to bring tasks into closure
• Experience to solve issues on embedded operating systems like Linux, Andriod or QNX
• Experience with Jenkins or CICD pipelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to solve hardware and real-time OS related issues
• Previous experience with software development and quality engineering in the automotive industry
Good to have:
• Experience with embedded HW in the Automotive domain is desirable
