Job Description

We are seeking a Software Quality assurance Manager, with 12+ years of experience in training & implementing quality models & standards like CMMI Dev. Ver 2.0, ISO 9001:2015 etc..

You are expected to have hands-on experience in providing end-to-end consultation/facilitation on standards and quality models ranging from GAP analysis to enhancing/defining process, training & implementing the process. You will lead and oversee all SEPG, SQA & QAG functions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide knowledge of execution and quality processes to project teams.
Assist projects in using ADS - especially methods and tools.
Facilitate configuration and setup help for project management tools such as GDD, ED, and EBS
Conduct training courses on processes related to software project execution
Review the Project Plan, Quality Plan, Configuration Management Plan, Security Plan, and changes thereof.
Consult project teams on topics related to estimation models, peer design or code reviews, project management, configuration management, quality assurance, and defect prevention.
Conduct monthly reviews of projects to understand process-related issues/risks, share best practices and create a work plan for improvements including effort and defect analysis at least once a month as part of SQA review.
Conduct audits on regular basis to verify adherence to processes adopted.
Certify the work products before release by conducting a final inspection of the work product
Track open items / non-conformances to closure and report noncompliance to IDC management.
Facilitate learning and reuse from prior projects to new projects being initiated.
Review Metrics analysis report and forward to Metrics council or send back to PM for clarifications.
Guide projects on selecting Metrics, data collection mechanisms, and setting goals.
Conduct special audits to analyze delivery quality escalations or improvement feedback.
Support projects in collecting metrics, conducting analysis, and identifying actions for improvement.
Support projects in undertaking defect prevention activities.
To review the activities of the review team representative.
To ensure that verification & validation activities for all the software work products of the project are carried out as per the Quality Plan.
Facilitate tailoring of processes, as required.
Provide process improvement inputs to the SEPG and the PCR board through SQA reviews.
Conduct QPI Reviews monthly and report to the QPI team. Regular interaction with the QPILs
Facilitate Senior Management Reviews, PMRs
