We are looking for Sofware Quality Engineers who would be responsible for creating and executing test plans before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly, work in an Agile environment in a multi-disciplined team to develop and create significant coverage of automation testing of software applications within an existing framework.
Responsibilities:
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts at the code level in JavaScript or Java
Assist in the enhancement and maintenance of a structured automation testing framework.
Work with Selenium for web applications, evaluation of automation test tools and proof of concepts.
Hands-on software quality assurance and Selenium automation testing to perform software system validation to ensure specifications are met.
Conduct back-end database testing and create SQL queries and analyze the results.
Collaboration and communication across Dev, QA, Ops and cross functional teams.
Automation test execution and report quality automation metrics
Design robust API automation framework using tools like Postman
Effectively maintain the test data for automation deliverables
Perform the gap analysis to ensure good automation test coverage, assess and provide proactive solutions.
Use GIT for source code version control and defect tracking tool for defect processing and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
3 or more years relevant experience as QA Automation Engineer
Working with modern automation frameworks for web and mobile applications (Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium)
Worked within an agile environment,
Conducting back-end database testing.
Creating SQL queries and analyzing the results.
Using defect tracking systems (like JIRA) for defect processing and control.
Proven experience in continuous automation and improvements.
