We are looking for 2– 5 years experienced Software Quality Lead Engineer to join our Software Quality work force. As a member of Tektronix India, Quality Lead Engineer will be working on Test Automation activities, Test Planning, Test Execution and responsible for maintaining high standards of quality KPIs for India R&D center.
Responsibilities:
Will work as a Quality lead engineer
Will be responsible for developing test scripts via Python with high quality.
Will actively perform Manual testing and stabilize the product by understanding the system.
Will be responsible for developing and maintaining Test cases through the integration of CI, BDD frameworks and tools;
Will actively participate in preparing test automation solution, designing automation frameworks.
Interact with Software Quality Lead to refine the software quality requirements.
Contribute to Modernize test framework for various platforms, Functional Automation, Performance Testing, Security and Penetration Testing.
Contribute to automation strategy to support regression testing based on the technical analysis, complexity, and reusability.
Responds appropriately and competently to the demands of work challenges when confronted with changes, ambiguity, adversity, and other pressures.
Responsible for to write test cases based on user cases and features.
Will be responsible for release related activity.
Will work and collaborate with different teams if needed.
Skills Required
Good knowledge in programming concepts and experience in programming languages like Python.
Experience in developing tests via Python and CI.
Experience and knowledge of concepts & practices related to Test Framework, Automation and Quality Cycles.
Experience in Developing and Maintaining test framework for a complex electronics equipment. Preferably for a Test & Measurement Equipment like Oscilloscope.
High communication and presentation skills with (with fluency in English).
Interpersonal skills, technical communication, efficient task management, and self-motivated.
UI and/or API level test automation. Familiar with UI automation tools/utilities like LDTP, Squish and other automation tools will be added advantage.
C#, .Net skill will be an added advantage
Experience in Test and Measurement Industry will be preferred.
Experience working with Agile / Lean Software Development teams.
Work as Scrum Master will be added advantage
Work as quality lead will be an added advantage
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication/Computer Science/Information science
2 – 5 years of experience as Software Quality Engineer.
Good Academic Records with > 70% marks
