Position Overview:
We are currently looking to hire Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible to ensure software product quality. The candidate will actively partake in all facets of software quality assurance process as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work with software engineer team to test innovative and mission critical web /mobile based solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, system architecture, and adherence to development goals and principles.
Design and develop automation frameworks
Design, develop and execute manual and automated functional test cases that ensure the software meets the intended requirements and quality standards
Identify, create and execute functional test case scenarios that fully satisfy functional requirements.
Evaluate test cases, test plans, and test processes for completeness, effectiveness and efficiency.
Work closely with Product Owners and software engineering teams located across multiple locations to understand product specifics and to create corresponding test plan, quality standards, and quality assurance strategies.
Work collaboratively with software engineering to resolve product issues in all parts of our software applications.
Leverage agile testing framework, design and build functional test cases and scenarios pertaining to various components of the application that ensures the software meets the intended requirements that meets all established quality standards specified in test plans
Facilitate improving test processes, propose new ideas on how to improve customer satisfaction and quality of product
Document and classify defects in a defect tracking tool
Experience in Testing web application and Mobile platforms using Windows CE, Windows 10 and Android etc.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
4-6 years’ experience in test automation using Selenium and Java.
Experience in designing test automation frameworks.
Experience in creating continuous integration environment.
Hands on experience with SQL and non-SQL databases.
Exposure to enterprise software applications and .Net applications and SQL Server.
Preferred Experience in Mobile Test Automation
Write wrapper classes in C# or .Net to resolve problems like tool not recognizing the controls used in the application.
Knowledge on SDLC / Agile development methodologies.
Good knowledge on complete bug life cycle.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in leading a team
Strong knowledge in Oops concepts
