Sr. Test Engineer, having strong understanding of Database / UI Testing and should be able to perform duties independently and efficiently.
Preferred:
B.Tech / MCA from a Reputed institution with 6 years experience in Quality Assurance with strong testing abilities, strong communication and able to communicate effectively in project meetings and agile stand ups
Should have good understanding of database, data models and have extensive database experience - Minimum 4 Years
Good understanding in drafting Test Plan, Test Strategy and Test Cases. Executes complex test cases/scripts and interprets/analyzes results to report, communicate, and work through issues with software engineers.
4 plus years of experience in understanding, developing and debugging complex SQLs using joins, nested queries, Temporary tables (preferably SQL server), inline functions.
Working closely with Product Management, Program Manager, Development Team and Support teams to create and deliver a quality-focused QA deliverable.
Understanding of UI components and
Good understanding of flat files validation business validation end to end with database
2 plus Years of Experience / Understanding in ETL processes
Proficiency with Web technologies, UI Components and data structures – HTML, CSS, XML, DOM
Understanding of Agile and well versed with Agile development environment.
Prior experience in Microsoft Test Management Tools (Azure Dev Ops)
Good communication skills, self learner and able to understand requirement quickly and able to meet aggressive timelines.
Should have Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, Reporting and Analytical skills.
Should have strong understanding on Functional testing and Non Functional Testing aspects.
Self Motivator and has desire to learn
Worked with team in diverse locations and multiple environment in parallel.
Nice to have
Hands-on experience on Microsoft Azure and have familiarity on Azure terminology like Blob Storage, containers, Azure Work books.
Experience in Automation using C# and Selenium
