About the role:
Ensure that software releases meet quality and performance expectations.
Understand different system requirements to design, create, execute, maintain sand document test plans and automation scripts.
Work closely with different teams of developers, and architects to drive high software quality processes.
Monitor the open issues for severity and priority, communicate the risks and follow through, and define the regression scope based on the quality risks.
Provide support to applications in the QA and production environment. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure minimum to no disruption to the backend services.
About you:
Your background includes 5+ years in software testing and automation.
Your experience includes postman , JMeter or similar tools for API functional and performance testing.
You are familiar with bug tracking systems like Jira and with different tools to perform functional, API and back-end manual and automated testing.
Your time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects, function in a fast paced and flexible environment is crucial.
You have a strong grasp of testing methodologies for all types of testing (functional, regression and performance testing)
