Demonstrate good application development and testing skills
Represent Test function in multi-disciplined Agile / Scrum teams.
Thoroughly understand new product features being implemented and be able to produce test designs and test cases for the product areas involved.
Automated test execution for new/old product features with complete test coverage.
Identify and automate repeated tasks in the team
Participating in sprint planning and coming up with User Stories and their Estimation/Sizing.
Translating user stories into test case designs.
Actively participating in all Sprint meetings such as Reviews, Retrospectives etc.
Demonstrate out of the box thinking.
Maintain the test scripts throughout the release cycles
Analyze the failures and log bugs whenever there are functional issues
Share the knowledge and experience with other team members with respect to Product, technology, and domain.
The SDET is responsible for designing and developing test cases for End-to-End Test coverage, writing automation scripts & maintain test artifacts while supporting different PRPC releases.
Scrum: Actively participate in the Scrum processes used to develop solutions. Provide continuous feedback and implement changes to our development processes.
Feedback: Actively participate in preparing and giving technical and/or product feature presentations to Internal Customers. Ensure that the feedback provided is circled back to the product as needed.
What You've Accomplished:
2.5 – 4 years of QA experience, preferably in a product development company
Experience in Automation testing.
Experience in Manual Testing.
Good Knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle, Test Life Cycle, and Testing Tools (Defect Logging, Test Case Management tools)
Experience in Enterprise application.
Exposure to some Java-related web technologies etc.
Exposure to App servers & databases.
Good communication skills.
Good troubleshooting skills
Strong aptitude and logical thinking
