Create and review test plans and suggest improvements for offering planning processes
Conduct new feature research and design test cases for Red Hat OpenShift’s new features
Develop new automated and manual tests; develop frameworks to ease test development and automation to speed up implementation
Document and advocate the resolution of new bugs with developers and communicate the impact on customers to developers and support
Make sure solutions are ready for release to public audiences
Participate in and perform root cause analysis of issues to get a starting point to address problems
Communicate with the other globally distributed Red Hat OpenShift quality engineers and developers
What you will bring
Solid skills and background in Linux
Familiarity with testing methodologies and techniques
Familiarity with any of one programming language
2+ years of experience working in quality engineering
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related engineering field or relevant professional experience
Ability to design and code complex test cases and code or contribute code to frameworks which simplify test development and automation solutions
