Responsibilities:
Translate complex system requirements and specs into test requirements and testing methods
Create test plan, test cases and test data
Interact with business and development team to define test plans and schedules
Perform Smoke, Regression, System testing and report defects
Communicate effectively with developers/QA peers and other stake holders in the organization
Assist the agile team in continuous validation of web applications, system interfaces and complete software solutions.
Provide technical support and mentoring to junior team members
Participate in requirements, reviews, story elaborations and testing activities
Required Skills
3+ years' of experience in Manual and Automation testing. Bachelors / Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.
Excellent knowledge of Testing lifecycle, SDLC, QA Processes, methodology and tools
Expert in implementing testing techniques, end to end flows and best practices
Expert in database testing using SQL & PL/SQL
Excellent knowledge of Automation and API testing
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience in BFSI domain especially capital market
