Job Description

Responsibilities:
Define QA standards, set and execute QA processes, plan/organize necessary test passes, help triage bugs and drive issues to resolutions, keep partners informed of QA status
Deep understanding of Quality Assurance best practices and should able to guide the team members
Excellent Lab/Environment/ Network set up and Trouble shooting Skills
Correlate, report, and drive the adoption of Process/Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Excellent understanding of providing estimate, preparing Test Plans, Integration Tests and UI tests as needed
Create effective resource plan to support multiple releases simultaneously
Execute manual and write automated tests, framework, and identify actionable bugs quickly
Work with different teams (Customers/Development/Regional Management/Product managers/Support) to collect necessary information to assure the QA coverage and provide feedback on quality issues
Work with onsite and offshore team to set their priorities and remove their roadblocks to make sure sufficient coverage is done for the release
Assess the status of the release and help make sure that the release goes out on time with high quality
Craft and support test dashboards/reports
Co-ordinating with Onsite counterparts and Offsite Management
Implement best practices and tools for testing and test automation, Conducting Code reviews and providing training and technical assistance to the team
Identify and troubleshoot problems related to scripts, framework components, application changes, etc., and repair issues
Grow QA team timely and effectively in support of the company’s hiring roadmap

Minimum Qualifications:
BE/BTech degree in Engineering
11 to 14  years of Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering experience in testing client-server architecture Based, desktop based applications and executing detailed test cases/test plans/test design documents
At least 2 to 5 years of experience managing a team of 6 to 10 members
Ability to construct test cases and get them prioritized based on changes
Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TFC, QC, etc.)
Experience of test automation and tool development methodologies
Experience in Performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, etc.)
Interpersonal skills, including development of presentations
Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work in team, multi-task and flexible with working hours
Experience scaling and managing a team of Quality engineers
Experience working closely with Engineering, PM, and Support teams
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
