Required Experience:
2-5 years of strong testing experience in test automation skills with Selenium, and should be capable analyzing, building, maintaining frameworks from scratch, understanding, analyzing, and debugging Selenium\Java code issues.
Has strong object-oriented programming experience in Java (Junit, TestNG, Maven)
Experience in automation framework design, Page Object Model, Keyword Driven, common selenium libraries and framework annotations.
Experience with build-controlled systems, Jenkins, or Azure Devop’s.
Understanding of web technology, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, file types. Ability to understand web protocols and web services. DOM dissection and xpath extraction.
Source code control: Git preferred and CI\CD tie-ins. Support common practices of commits, pull requests, branching, merge conflicts, code review.
Triggering scheduled tests designed in selenium
Good understanding of xml and API service orientated protocols
Capable of handling Test reporting (Extent) and test data management.
Should be capable building, understanding, analyzing code issues
Exposure on Continuous Integration (CI) & Continuous Deployment (CD)
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
Good and clear understanding of SQL fundamentals desired, T-SQL, stored procedures, and relational database design.
Should have good analytical and problem-solving skill set
Disciplined, detailed, structured, and organized in approaching work
Demonstrates ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results on time
Strong technical aptitude. Must be able to identify, analyze and solve problems
Functional, Regression, Integration and System Testing on various products developed
Should have strong communication skills as need to work on requirement from onshore
Work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning as an integral part of a team
Ensuring proper escalation and follow up of issues till closure
Identifying potential risks that could endanger project milestones
Work with onshore team, counterparts on daily basis in a technical role
Execute & evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
Produce regular status reports and articulate status to lead\team as desired
Desirable knowledge of Tools:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Team foundations sever (TFS), Azure DevOps
XML, API, Coded UI experience of scripting, running the scripts is a plus
Must Have: Selenium (WebDriver), Java, SQL, Jenkins, Maven, TestNG
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications:
Domain knowledge of Banking, Finance, Insurance sector would be preferred
Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
Excellent conceptual grasp of software, architectures etc.
