You will prioritize test execution, hands on validation and certification of the software readiness.
What will your job look like?
Accomplish test procedures and/ or scripts either manually or by automated tools.
Supervise and report on the test execution in a timely manner with attention given to achieving outstanding quality.
Capture and detail the outcome of test executions and all information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage.
Analyze reports and discrepancies to resolve root cause and evaluate script failures at a high level.
Compare and analyze system behavior vs. encouraged results/important metrics based on business and technical requirements. Identifies issues, proposes system improvements and performs repetitive test execution to resolve identified issues.
You will participate and contribute to internal design reviews of testing materials.
All you need is...
1-5 yrs Networking experience in the area of 2-7 OSI layers
Understanding of telecom networking with hands-on experience. Also, with understanding of the core telecom domain including testing/supporting EPC, IMS solutions.
Experience testing or supporting of NEPs like Ericsson, Huawei etc.
Knowledge in UE, 3G/2G Core, LTE Core & 5G Core network architecture
Knowledge of protocols GMM, MM, RANAP, S1-AP, SCPT, X2AP, GTP, S Series & N Series, Diameter, Radius
3GPP Specifications for 3G, LTE & 5G.
Experience of deployment of OSS and Network and Customer Diagnostics systems through the delivery lifecycle from initial design to full operational handover
Good understanding of NFV and SDN concepts along with knowledge of MANO architecture
NFVI experience with working with – OpenStack, Azure, Amazon (at least one of the following)
Expertise in SDN/NFV / ecosystem (hands-on), Cloud stack (Openstack, etc) & Fair knowledge on SDN controllers (tail-f, Open Daylight, contrail etc)
Expertise in OpenStack KVM, VMware Ubuntu & Redhat. (Either)
Capable in designing Test cases Scenarios, Writing Test cases using Test case, Writing Automation scripts.
Background knowledge in handheld device (CPE) testing full E2E.
Ability to work with packet sniffers, data collectors and traffic generator tools.
Comfortable working on Linux machines
Understanding of SDLC, STLC and Defect Lifecyle
Sound written and verbal communication
Flexible in working in Shifts.
